Terms & Conditions

Any reference to “we”, “us”, “our”, “Gift Hampers Spain” or ”Gift Hampers International” refers to Gift Hampers International Ltd, registered at: Suite 7, Brackenholme Business Park, Selby YO8 6EL. United Kingdom.

Any reference to “partners”, “suppliers”, “couriers” or “team” refers to the network of people and companies we work with to provide the gift service, as well as the delivery couriers we use, as well as our own staff and employees.

By accessing our website and/or purchasing products from us, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions of use.

Before purchasing any products from our website, we will ask you to confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions. You are free to not accept, at which stage the purchase process will be terminated.

Website Usage

You agree to not use our website for:

  1. Any illegal or fraudulent purpose
  2. To violate the rights of others (such as by abuse, threats, libel)
  3. Impede, obstruct or disrupt the normal operation of the website or the platforms on which it resides

  6. We may at times provide on the site hyperlinks to third-party websites and resources we believe you might find useful. You agree that this does not mean we endorse them and are not responsible for them. Your use of these third-party resources is at your own risk.


Alcohol Age Restriction

You must be 21 years old or over to purchase alcohol products from this website. If you are buying any alcoholic products as a gift - the recipient must also be of legal drinking age in the country you are sending the gift/s to.

Before initiating the checkout step on our website we display a notice relating to this, which you are required accept in order to be able to continue with your order.

By continuing with your purchase and placing an order on our website, you are confirming that the recipient is of legal drinking age in the respective country you are sending the gift/s to.

Couriers may, at their own discretion, carry out additional age verification checks upon delivery. However we cannot guarantee delivery age verification checks will be made and you understand and hereby accept that neither we nor our partners are to be held liable or responsible for any abuse of the system.


Prices

We aim to ensure that all prices shown on the site are valid. In the unlikely event of price/s being incorrect, we will contact you to arrange the extra payment or else the refund. If we are unable to reach you using the contact details you provided, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you back the cost of your order minus any expenses we may have incurred up to that point.

All prices for goods are specified on all Gift Hamper International (brochures or websites) and are correct at the time of publication or at agreed contract prices.

VAT is included in the final price and is charged at the current rate on vatable items only, such as chocolates or wines, etc. We reserve the right to amend the price of a product at any time.

Standard delivery to Spain is included in the final price. We reserve the right to amend the price of delivery at any time.

There are no customs charges to gifts within the EU.


Suppliers

Gift Hampers International is a multi-supplier platform working with a network of quality local suppliers around the world. Once you have placed your order, any follow up communication will be with The Supplier. All goods remain the property of The Supplier until all goods, services and all outstanding debts to The Supplier have been paid in full.


Payments

All orders must be paid for in full before the goods are dispatched. The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Credit/Debit card: all card payments are validated and authorized before completing your order. Please note that if your payment is not authorized, we cannot be held liable for non-delivery of your goods. We use Stripe Payments as our Payment Service Provider (PSP).
  • PayPal: Use your PayPal account to make payment, or select the option within PayPal to use any of your approved credit cards.
  • Bank Transfer: If your online order is over €500, a bank transfer option will become available for you to place your order. The order will remain as pending until payment is received. For those receiving a corporate quotation invoice, you will be provided our Revolut Bank Transfer details separately.


The Order Process

Once you have placed your order you will receive an automated confirmation email from our system, confirming your order details. You must check these details and immediately inform us if you notice any issues, so that we can fulfil your order correctly.

If you don’t receive this email within 1 hour after placing the order, please check your spam folder. If you still do not receive the email please contact us at [email protected] or by live chat.

If you wish to view the order placed on our website you can do so by logging in to your account area.

Delivery & Returns

Out Of Stock / Replacements

In the event of supply shortages, or perishables during the summer months, The Supplier reserves the right to substitute products with others of similar nature which are of equal or higher value or weight. Substitutions may amount up to and including 33% of the components in each gift.

In the unlikely event that more than 33% of the gift components are not currently in stock, The Supplier will contact you to see if you would rather change the order to a similar item, wait for the items to be available, or cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Hamper contents can vary slightly from the image displayed so please see the product descriptions for full listings. Glasses, utensils, decorations and other props shown in photographs are not included in the gift unless specifically listed.


Customer Care

If any technical issues arise with your order before or during the payment process, please inform us immediately by email to [email protected]. We will investigate any issues as soon as they are brought to our notice and we endeavor to respond to all enquiries within one working day.

If any product or delivery issues arise after you have placed your order, then inform us immediately by email to [email protected] and this query will be sent to The Supplier who will endeavor to respond to all enquiries within one working day.


Cancellation Of Order

The Supplier reserves the right to cancel your order if:

  • There is insufficient stock to fulfill the order, and they do not have a suitable replacement for your product/s.
  • The Supplier is unable to deliver the goods to your area or if the delivery details you provide are incorrect or they do not manage to reach the intended recipient.
  • The Supplier has to cancel the order for whatever reason, they will contact you to inform you by either email, telephone, or both, and your payment will be refunded. The Supplier will not offer or pay any other compensation for cancelling the order.

The Customer reserves the right to cancel and request relevant compensation if the order is:

  • Lost
  • Damaged
  • Out of stock
  • Subject to quality control issues.

If the order is cancelled for whatever reason other than Gift Hampers International’s or The Supplier’s explicit fault, we will deduct any charges that have incurred in processing your order up to that point from the refund we give back to you. Allergy Information

Although The Supplier’s have taken care in checking the ingredients for allergens and dietary requirements, it is recommend that all recipients check the product information provided on each pack, especially if a recipient has any allergies. This is of particular importance if on the rare occasion an item has been substituted.


Props

Photographs in any supplied documents or on the website are accompanied by an itemised list, describing the contents of each Hamper or Gift Box. Please note that for photographic purposes some props have been used and these are not included in the particular Hamper or Gift Box.

Limitations to Liability & Damages

The Supplier takes all reasonable care in the preparation and packaging of fragile and delicate items contained in the Hampers & Gift boxes. However, in the unfortunate event, that such delicate items are damaged in transit, The Supplier shall be responsible for the replacement costs of the item only. The Supplier reserves the right to furnish such replacement or equivalent items as they are readily available, and with due consideration where possible, to the client’s particular delivery needs.

Gift Hampers International or The Supplier shall not in anyway be responsible for any personal injury, consequential loss or damages to property howsoever caused.
